Therapeutic Approaches

Trust is the cornerstone of our relationship. It is my aim to provide you with an environment where you feel as comfortable as possible.

Goals for therapy will be created together with YOU in the driver’s seat. You will decide on the priorities and goals for your sessions and how we proceed to help you get the most out of your sessions.

I use a variety of methods and approaches for treatment. Below are the most common ones I use:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is an approach that emphasizes the importance of the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Family Systems

Emphasizes the importance of recognizing people as a part of their family system and how the whole unit is affected when one person is struggling. It provides insight into how your environment has shaped you and focuses on family dynamics, roles, and patterns within the system.

Solution Focused Therapy

This approach emphasizes the importance of goal setting and creating a clear and realistic vision for how to achieve those goals. It helps you identify what you want to accomplish and the barriers that might stand in the way of progress. Together we will work through the barriers and help you to live your best life.
